2015 TCM Film Festival and Indian Film Festival Full Line-Ups Are Up

Two film festivals will be gracing Hollywood a mere week apart. First up is the TCM Film Festival March 26-29, taking up multiple locations around Hollywood and Highland, showcasing classic films on the big screen.

I don't even know where to start. There's just so many classic and cult favorites playing. The almost entirely silent crime movie of Rififi to the more light-hearted archeologist adventure of Indiana Jones in Raiders of the Lost Ark are just the tip of the iceberg, they ain't showing Titanic. Comedies like History of the World Part 1 from Mel Brooks to unheard of films like Nothing Lasts Forever filled with cameos from SNL are mixed in. You have a huge amount of choices with often the director, crew or actors in the film in attendance.

Our top choice is The Bank Dick. Yes, that's it's real name and it stars W.C. Fields as The Bank Dick.

Sorry if I gave you the wrong impression, but there will be plenty of black and white classics with dramas that will make you cry and make you want to call you Mom and treat people nicer.

*Edgar Wright will be showing up for Psycho, he's not doing anything since Ant-Man ... Ant-Man is going to suck now.

Please look through the insane amount of films they've got this year.

A week later or so we get the  Indian Film Festival April 8-12... why are there no comedies? This year, like last, is devoid of any of the more mainstream and hilarious comedies from India. Mostly dramas, and documentaries will be filling up the screens, I'm not sure about seats. Check the site March 20 for a full schedule. Check up the line-up here. We all understand having a sense of class at some film festival, but fans enjoy seeing comedies and action movies, wise up Japan Film Festival.
