The pilot for Almost Human looks to be a less gritty updated version to Blade Runner. It pays homage to the giant Japanese geisha billboard scene from the film with similar tunnel ads in the first episode. Look for it around the 12:30 mark if you downloaded the episode.

Anyone else find it weird the Chief's office had a random gun and fingerprint screensaver/ program running behind her? Shouldn't that be private or not running randomly behind her.

Axe Cop's ninth episode simply called "Night Creatures" stars evil Night Creatures who bear a striking resemblance to the alien monsters from Joe Cornish's sci-fi Attack the Block film. Cornish is rumored to be directing Star Trek 3.
