Jon Benjamin Has a Bad Show

You've already seem my review of Wilfred, which will most certainly be a pile of dog shit even with a great actor Elijah Wood who stars in it and can just do something better with his time.

I got to see some episodes of this and it's nothing that great, I see it being one season. Or a comedy central season  which is six episodes. Simply put Jon thinks green screen and cameos from comedian friends is better than writing a funny plot. The concept is he is some sort of a news reporter and interviews stange people or acts like a jerk. There's some reality mixed in with Jon just approaching strangers and annoying them. Jon is wasting his time with this run of the mill show. From the trailers I thought it be more about him and his crew, but it's just him.

For TV aficionados, you"ll being seeing a lot of familiar faces and locations. I saw the same Mexican village from Arrested Development and other shows in the first episode. The budget is way to high or they think using cgi can save jokes. When you look at It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia and how they make you laugh, when this show tires way yo much, it pathetic. Must have been fun as Hell to shoot though, Jon just filmed whatever he wanted. It's nothing new, it's seems like it should be more of a skit on a bigger show. Don't see it.

Rob Owen was tricked by the awful ca$h stall segment, if it's was reality or a skit, it was a skit buddy, I could tell by the voice, it's another comedian.
