What We Found On The Net Today: Helios House, Smorgasburg L.A. Kind Of Back, LA Comic-Con Tries For Decemeber & New Drive-In

Helios House is a fun gas station to stop by as it looks so strange it's perfect for Instagram or saying you got stuck in some sort of sci-fi scenario. Actually, meant to show off being green, which is of course is ironic as it's a gas station, it still looks totally out of place though it's been in LA for more than a decade. A perfect trip to gas up at during Covid and take a pick with your mask on.

If you've missed the delicious tastes of  Smorgasburg L.A. like we have you should try out the delivery service, if you live close enough for that good food to be delivered. It's going on every weekend until November.

Comikaze Los Angeles Comic-Con is planning to happen at the LA Convention in December. It usally takes place in October every year overlapping with Halloween. Odd to be in December and maybe not the smartest among corona-virus fears.

Visit the Red Dog Saloon in Pioneertown, if you want to see a ghost town. Seriosuly, though it seems safe to grab food here if traveling by Palm Springs.

-Hollywood Legion Theater at Post 43 is opening the first-ever drive-in cinema in the heart of Hollywood! In doing so, the theater will be among the first in Los Angeles to offer public screenings seven days a week as the COVID-19 pandemic continues. The drive-in will have a capacity of 30 vehicles, providing a cozy and relaxed outdoor movie-going experience nestled at the foot of the Hollywood hills.

Programming will kick off with E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial on Oct. 3; The Muppet Movie - Oct. 4; Jaws - Oct. 5; Ferris Bueller’s Day Off - Oct. 6; Jurassic Park - Oct. 7; Saving Private Ryan - Oct. 8; Raiders of the Lost Ark - Oct. 9; Chinatown - Oct. 13. An increasingly diverse and eclectic range of films will follow through November.

Oh great, more of the same stuff everywhere in LA, but no indoor water park. We already miss Fry's as it's essentially a zombie version of itself with nothing in it's shelves.
