One of our favorite Christmas films is coming to America from France/Germany in a new 4K release. This is an insane 80's movie filled with tropes from films from the same era. A little rich boy who lives in a castle/mansion has to protect his house from a murderous psycho dressed as Santa. Sound familiar? It's like Home Alone, but so utterly bonkers different there's no way Home Alone copied them,  as this film came first. No, really, the people behind this one tried to sue the studio behind Home Alone and lost. Though only way to see it legally now in the US is through Shudder's streaming service or if you're like us get a Blu-ray copy from Germany with no region lock.

We could go on and on, but essentially this is the perfect Christmas film to watch with your friends and have your head blow away by Santa and France's early Internet called Minitel.

We're sad The Angry Beavers couldn't make an appearance in The Loud House. They're in the animatic, not the finished product.
