 The Alex Film Society Greatest (Classic) Cartoons Ever! Giggle along with Bugs Bunny, Mickey Mouse, Superman, Yosemite Sam, Goofy, Daffy Duck, Porky Pig, Donald Duck, Mighty Mouse, Woody Woodpecker - the crème de la crème of the Golden Age of Classic Cartoons.

Animation know-it-alls Jerry Beck and Frank Gladstone are back with brand new, classic toons the whole family can enjoy!

Pool Admission: $10/adults, $5/senior adults 60+, $4/youth 1-17.

Take the plunge in the great Pacific, then warm up in the heated Beach House pool!
Celebrate this new tradition with friends and family while enjoying poolside activities including s'mores, warm beverages, games and photos with our very own polar bear mascot. Creativity and costumes are encouraged!
This event features a Polar Bear Swim, whether you just take a quick dip or do the 300 or 500 yard buoy swim is up to you. All ages encouraged. Pool admission will be charged for those Polar Bears that want to soak or swim in the warm pool, take a hot shower and munch on the tasty snacks provided.

The Hollywood Foreign Press Association (HFPA) and American Cinematheque will celebrate the best in international cinema with the 2020 Golden Globe Foreign-Language Nominees Screening Series and Symposium. The screening series will take place Dec. 29 - Jan. 3, 2020 at the Aero Theatre in Santa Monica, with the Symposium on Saturday, Jan. 4 at the Egyptian Theatre in Hollywood, featuring a panel with all five directors of the nominated films in the Best Motion Picture - Foreign Language category. The Symposium is free with RSVP on Eventbrite.
