Game Hype: Trailer Dump: Knights And Bikes, "Boat Horror Game", River City Girls & Gun Gun Pixies

Here's some games coming out that we think you should take note of.

Knights And Bikes
Out August 27th on PS4/PC/MAC/LINUX
Steam

The local and online co-op game Knights And Bikes comes out later this month and has you battling what seem to be ghosts knights with a huge amount of 80's nostalgia. The game simply looks beautiful with a 2D/3D point & click aesthetic for what is really an action/Lite RPG game.

Synopsis: KNIGHTS AND BIKES is a hand-painted action-adventure for 1 or 2 players, set on on British island in the 1980s. It's a coming-of-age story starring Nessa & Demelza, exploring the coasts of Penfurzy on their trusty bikes, looking for a legendary lost treasure in a Goonies-inspired tale of excitement, danger, fun and friendship.

The two new friends, along with their pet-goose and the pickled-head of an undead knight, form the Penfurzy Rebel Bicycle Club, and are ready for anything this adventure throws at them. They pedal into danger to face threats head-on with frisbees, water-balloons, video game controllers and the powerful beats of an amplified boom-box.

Along the way they'll stuff their pockets with trinkets and barter for bike upgrades, spurring them onwards down the island's country lanes, windswept beaches, deep forests, modern attractions and ancient ruins.

Out August 30th on PS4/Xbox One/ STEAM/PC

The people behind Until Dawn have a new game you can play online with a friend or locally with Movie Night Mode. You'll have to escape from a haunted boat, but it you have to depend on your friends to make the right choices, oh, and you too.

The game is dirt cheap with pre-orders being only $24.99 and somehow living (and possibly dying) a horror movie with someone online make it very enticing.

On the other hand, there's just some bad choices with the game's name and box art look. You see, it's suppose to be in a series from Supermassive Games, so it has this stupid title of The Dark Pictures Anthology with what might make sense later "Man of Medan." So, for the regular person it sounds and reads bad. It's an unestablished series. Then you have the box art and it looks just like a cheap PC game from the 90's.

We still want to give it a try, but it needs a facelift for the cover. Maybe you can print out a better one in the future.

As for the name, we're quite sure we're just going to refer to it as the "boat horror game."

River City Girls
Out September 5th on PS4/PC/Xbox One and Nintendo Switch
Sadly, this local co-op only, we have friends elsewhere in the world, has you kicking-butt as the girlfriends of the guys from the River City series. WayForward is the maser of doing games with sprites, so this beat-em up look like it'll be a real hit and then a punch, it's gonna kick some @$$.

The game is gonna have a huge list of extras, so don't expect it to be over in one sitting. We can't wait to play it.

Gun Gun Pixies
Out Sept 6th on Nintendo Switch and PC/Steam

Oh, Japan never change. This game has you being pipsqueak sized cute alien girls shooting big cute girls at a women's college dormitory. I'm sure the story makes little to no sense, but that's why it's from Japan.

From the press release:
Sneak around the dorm and climb furniture to search for non-combat story scenarios or get good venture points for sniper shots to pacify the girls. Collecting large coins hidden around the levels and completing objectives lets you unlock new weapons, lingerie, gadgets and costumes.
