Shark Week @ Paley Jumps The Shark

"Is this is it?" a small child asked his Dad when he walked through the Shark Week Exhibit at the Paley Center in Beverly Hills, last Sunday. And we must apologize to anyone who read our Weekly What To Do Section last week and went. We were as bummed out by the kid we overheard. He was as sad as us to find really nothing at the Shark Week exhibit.

The exhibit strikes you as fun with a large shark head and bench to take photos on as you enter The Paley. At that point you should just stop and leave, because there's really nothing else up the stairs in the exhibit. It's just void of knowledge or really anything past a few selfies.

We truly don't understand why there couldn't be very simple booths teaching us about sharks. Or just really anything other than some props from past Shark Weeks.

There were two interactive kiosks that we saw that asked shark questions and that was it for any sort of learning. It's such a waste. We really think this will hurt the credibility of Discovery Channel and sort of consider it ill will towards anyone trying to learn.
