We Came, We Saw, We Got The Cheeto's Cookie

Friends, gentleman and ladies we have done it. Here at TTDILA, it's taken us considerable time, but we finally tasted the elusive Cheeto's cookie at Cookie Good! Some called it an urban legend, others a ridiculous baked good, both were correct. We have tasted the chip/cookie hybrid and it is yummy.

Across from a small park where bocce ball is played is an almost hidden cookie shop, Cookie Good. The simple name reflects the taste of the more than average priced cookies. As we entered, it was mere minutes before Moms and Dads came in with their kids and got them something yummy as a treat.

In the upper right corner, to see as soon as you enter, is the Cheeto's cookie. Bright orange like a sunrise it asked to be eaten. We would say the taste is consistent with eating a soft shortbread or butter cookie with the taste of Cheetos in every bite. The Cheetos isn't overpowering the taste of the cookie, it blends well together. As with eating Cheetos, you'll get the bright orange dust on your fingers if you eat just one. Get at it at least once as a LA badge of pride for Instagram or to send a pic to friends.

It's not just Cheetos, there's a decent mouth-watering selection of tasty cookies and brownies to eat.  hey have simple chocolate chip to cereal infused cookies like a "Fruity Pebbles" and "Lucky Charms to try. Since, they make new cookies every day, but Sunday, lame, they have some stranger ones to try at random intervals. We just spotted a "Pancakes and Bacon" cookie and a seasonal "Shamrock" cookie for St. Paddy's Day.

If near Cookie Good, we recommend getting about three different cookies to try and grabbing a glass of milk. Be sure to check out their full selection to make the tough choice of which cookies will be lighting up your taste-buds.
