The Museum of Failure Opens Dec 2

Is my marriage in there? I'm kidding, but what's no joke is how many strange museums we have in LA. We have a new pop-up one opening up this weekend and it's The Museum of Failure.

The Museum of Failure
Dec 2-Feb 5, 2018
Wednesday: 2-6 pm
Thursday/Friday: 2-8 pm
Saturday/Sunday: 12 – 7 pm
Closed: Monday/Tuesday

A+D Architecture and Design Museum
900 E 4th St, Los Angeles, CA 90013
$16.50 online

The Museum has over 100 items that failed major businesses, yet those companies or individuals may still be going strong. Each piece is a story, a story of bad ideas and far too much confidence in one's self.

From the the museum site:

"The Museum of Failure will treat its visitors to a shrine of history’s epic fails by some of the world’s best known companies. First displayed in Sweden, the collection of 100 plus failures was originally conceived by psychologist and innovation researcher, Dr. Samuel West, as part of his research on corporate success and innovation. The marketing catastrophe that was Bic for Her? Yup. The two-wheeled, self-balancing transport innovation, Segway? You better believe it. These, along with artifacts spanning from the 17th century right up to the present day, including the frozen beef lasagna by Colgate, demonstrate the types of failures the museum will showcase. Other highlights include the hula chair (just envision it), the Apple Newton, and even President Donald Trump’s version of Monopoly from 1989 made the cut. With surprise Instagram moments all around, the museum is a family affair with failures for everyone from nine to 90. Come fail with us!"
