"As children, Marge, Homer, Lenny, Carl and Barney were tormented by a clown that lived in the sewer. Together they defeated the face-painted fiend. Now as adults, they are about to be tormented by the same clown again. Sometimes “IT Happens.” Then, Comic Book Guy gets a well-deserved curse placed on him by an unsuspecting citizen of Springfield. And finally, Marge is the only one standing between her family and a fungal invasion from space!"

TCM In October, this cable channel will have a huge amount of old horror movies and classics for the entire month of October, starting on Oct 1st. Check the full schedule here.

Haunters: The Art Of The Scare, is a documentary about all annual haunts and how there made. There even seems to be some drama as the new darker haunts with simulated murders are looked to kindly on by the older jump scare haunts and mazes. It's on Blu-ray and digital on October 3.

Lore, Amazon's new anthology horror series based on modern myths and legends will premiere on Friday, October 13 on Prime Video.

Happy Death Day, has the victim of a serial killer reliving her death, day after day, in attempt to stop and figure who keeps killing her on her birthday. Premieres on Friday, October 13 in theaters.

American Satan, a new horror movie about a punk band making a "deal with the devil" for popularity will premiere on Friday, October 13 in select theaters. It's set in Hollywood, so a lot of notable spots around LA will be in the film.

The Simpsons Treehouse of Horror, the annual special comes back to us on October 22, 2017 on FOX. Treehouse of Horror XXVIII will feature three stories as per usual.

The Walking Dead Season 8, follow your favorite survivors of a zombie Apocalypse with the 100th episode bringing back the show Oct 22 on AMC Network.

AMC FearFest 2017 comes back to the cable channel October 23 through October 31. For classic and cult horror movies.

DC House of Horrors, an anthology of terrifying stories from the DC Universe goes on sale October 25th with 80 pages of scares.

What dumb name though as DC has a bunch of properties from its past to use like House of Secrets or House of Mystery.

Martha Kent fights for her life against a creature from a spacecraft that lands in front of her farmhouse! A young woman is possessed by the spirit of a murderous Amazon warrior! The last surviving member of the Justice League faces down a horror beyond imagining!
