Halloween 2016: Knott's Scary Farm

Knott's Scary Farm is returning to us on the 22nd of September. The Scary Farm has a fresh new crop of scares for you this Halloween season. New mazes include: Shadow Lands, Japanese-themed horror with samurai demons wanting to cut your soul in two. We here at TTDILA are looking forward to seeing how gruesome Knott's can make ancient Japanese culture. Red Barn is less of an Orwellian take on communism taking the form of animals and more on animals taking up eating people. That's only the start of what's been growing at the farm.

Black Ops: Infected brings back the fun of getting to shoot zombies with guns in a video game made real. This year Knott's went big with not only a final boss, but one of the largest mazes they've claimed to have ever made. The interactive maze will have live actors, live scoring and even a kill streak score system, just like when your playing at home.

If we haven't taken our hats off to Knott's in the past or screamed out how much this idea matters for those wanting to game in the real world. Well, we're just sorry then. A real life zombie shooter to play! You've had us since the first year you did this, keep making it better and adding DLC!

We have a new scare zone, The Hollow, based on the headless horseman mythos, you know what part of your body to watch.
For those willing to play a little bit more you have four Skeleton Key Rooms this year. These are private experiences and a bit more time-consuming then a regular maze and with less people going through.

They are as follows:
Visions: Guests must investigate the Green Witch Museum in Ghost Town where it is not the building that is haunted, but the various items contained within. Using a Phantom Finder augmented reality device, guests will be able to identify and witness paranormal activity connected to items from the Sarah Marshall Witch Trial.
ZOZO: People from all over the world claim to have been visited by the demon ZOZO after a spirit board session. Is the demonic entity known as ZOZO real or are spirit boards just a myth?
Slasher: Guests are invited to step into an 80s’ slasher horror film. The masked Angel Maker Killer is on the loose. Every lead has run cold and that’s when you step into the picture. Will you become his next victim?
Prey: Navigate a hay maze full of dead ends with only a faulty lantern as your guide. You are not alone. Mutant beasts are lurking around every corner.
If you guessed Slasher, with stepping into an 80's horror movie, was our top choice, you wouldn't be dead wrong.

Returning to relax and titillate you is none other that the queen of screams, darkness and comedy is Elvira. Elvira will have another new show entitled Elvira’s Danse Macabre for you to be both frightened and entertained.

Some of our favorite maze are returning too including Trick-or-Treat and The Tooth Fairy, making it 10 mazes for you to try at the park with roller coasters and other fun frights going on.

For even more details check out their site below and plan what night you'll be wanting them to scare you and your friends.
