Bats Day Vs Dapper Day at Disneyland, They'll Probablly Get Along

It's the goths vs people dressed like the 20's as both the annual Bats Day and Dapper Day descend into Disneyland this weekend.

What the Hell are these two days, really weekends? A question you might ask if you don't know of the many unofficial days that happen at the park. Bats Day is for those who want to dress spooky and have a like of the macabre and scary. Dapper Day is best represented by dressing up in over the top style, you're trying to look your best, like some ideal look of 1920's Barbie idyllic fashion. Both events have special meet-ups in and out of the park and they're getting big.

*Of note, due to recent policies at Disneyland no one can go in a costume or cosplay. Reasons given have fluctuated online from not wanting park guests thinking those dressed up are part of Disneyland to just park safety.

If you do want to go all out, don't worry, each weekend long event has there own expo outside of the park and you can go crazy with cosplay.

Bats Day is a celebration of Disneyland by those who love horror and darker sights. To say they'll be checking out the Haunted Mansion is too little, they love it. The three day event includes a special market to buy goodies and multiple parties to show off your dark self, that still loves Disney.

Dapper Day

Dapper Day is a celebration of Disneyland by those who love looking good and style so profound you'll look twice. To say they'll be checking out themselves with selfies is too little, they love their own look.
