Pearls of the Planet: What Are Polar Bears Up To?


If you want to tie the environment to your holiday enjoyment and are sick of visiting the LA Zoo there's Pearls of the Planet, a live cam experience from the Arctic. Watch polar bears migrate in real time.

Parking with Validation is $3.50 Wednesdays – Fridays and $1.00 on weekends.


The Annenberg Space for Photography and explore.org invite visitors on a polar expedition at Skylight Studios through a live cam experience from the Arctic. Guests can spend time inside immersive experience booths with live cam screens featuring sights and sounds of the polar bear migration. The booths are covered in informational facts about the live cam installations. Guests will also have a chance to pose inside an Arctic-inspired photobooth featuring a life-size polar bear amidst swirling snow. Guests can share their photographs through social media by tagging #explorepearls on Instagram and Twitter.
