Star Wars Art Awakens: Trailer Based Art Show

One of the only things to do art of
Make art based on the Star Wars trailer you've seen with the new Art Awakens program. How about waiting until after seeing the f*cking film? In what I think is getting to be ridiculous, we're having another art show in LA based on a movie property no one has seen yet. This reminds me of the Avengers: Age of Ultron art show from Marvel and Hero Complex Gallery that would have been better connected to fans if the movie came out first and the artists saw the film. With no clear cut understanding of the film we're limited to work only based on the trailer.

It's an art show devoted to the trailer of Star Wars: The Force Awakens.

I'm not going to stop you from being apart of it, though when you think about it, it's really stupid.

Submit your art to ArtAwakens.com for a chance to be featured in the Gallery 1988's three-day Star Wars: The Force Awakens art show in November. Only five artists will be chosen.

HP and Lucasfilm are supplying this contest with prizes and there's some vague connection to UNICEF, I'm not sure, it says certain pieces will be auction off for them, will all profits? Unknown.

So in closing, Gallery 1988 will have the predicted Star Wars art show it was going to havr based on little more than the trailer and whatever artists can find online.
