Dances With Film Festival May 28-June 7

We aren't as excited by the LA Film Festival this year, luckily we have the Dances With Film Festival happening this week to fill the void. May 28-June 7 at the Chinese Theaters in Hollywood we have quite the selection of films. Here's some of out choices; not the full list. So let's watch out of work actors, a British super hero named Bob and of course a new Freddy Kreuger like creature going by the name Hat Man.

Here's our selection:

Synopsis:
Oliver (Casey Nelson) and Lucy Sinclair (Kate Murdoch) were raised by an eccentric, single father with a penchant for elaborate treasure hunts meant to entertain and inspire his children. When their father unexpectedly passes away, the siblings return home to find that instead of a traditional will, he’s left them a final call to adventure from beyond the grave – one last treasure hunt.

Synopsis:
In 2008, Robert Kenner, a mild-mannered postman from Peckham, South London was struck by a meteor which bestowed him with super powers. Today, Bob is an overworked underappreciated "civil servant" for the British government. He spends most waking hours saving people and filling out forms. He has no time for anything else. Least of all love. But today he has a day off. And best of all, he has a date with June from the library. Now all he has to do is act as if this isn't the most exciting day of his life. Apparently that puts people off.
