What's Happening at the Dragon Ball Z: Resurrection ‘F’ Premiere

Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhh! Funimation finally revealed why you should come early to the premiere, the week of the premiere. Many wondered why they should get up early on a Saturday. Well now you'll know.

Who’s actually on the red carpet?

-Not Akira Toriyama (creator of Dragon Ball)
-Tadayoshi Yamamuro (director of Dragon Ball Z: Resurrection ‘F’)
-Masako Nozawa (Japanese voice actress for Goku)
-Sean Schemmel (English voice actor for Goku)
-Chris Sabat (English voice actor for Vegeta)

Why 10am?

Prior to the red carpet will be a Fan Appreciation Event & Gathering. Hosted by Justin Rojas & Johnny Yong Bosch, Funimation will be giving away prizes from their partners at Bandai Namco Games, Funko POP!, Bluefin Toys & Collectibles Show. It's an hour of contests, trivia, and story-telling to win, probably some math questions so bring a calculator.

The first 100 people who show up to the red carpet in Dragon Ball Z cosplay or merchandise (a shirt) will receive a pair of limited edition, Goku & Freiza phone charms – only available in Japan! You’ll also be guaranteed a spot along the red carpet, what the!

10 am - 11 am: Fan Appreciation Event & Gathering
11 am - 12 pm: Red Carpet
12 pm - 2 pm: Screening of Dragon Ball Z: Resurrection ‘F’ (Please be prepared to present your ticket)

Do you have a question for the cast and creators of the film? Post it to Twitter or Facebook, using the hashtag #DBZRedCarpet.  FUNimation’s very own Justin Rojas will ask the Red Carpet guests.Seriously though, you should be sad if you’re not there in person. So ask your questions questions.
