The Final Member Review and Reminder

Directors Jonah Bekhor and Zach Math have a soon to be Netflix-making-rounds-wonder that was picked up by Drafhouse films about a penis museum and the race to get the first human penis into it. In Iceland--seriously, I don't know how many penis jokes I'm going to try and fit in this post--
Siggi Hjartarson, the founder/curator/teacher/writer of the Icelandic Phallological Museum needs one final piece for his collection, a male organ belonging to his own species before he donates his own...in death. Then he will finally feel complete. Enter two men willing to be separated from their manhood, an old Icelandic player in his 90's, Pall Arason and the odd American Tom Mitchell, who has his penis tattooed with the old red-white-and-blue, he gets the flag on the tip of his johnson, that goes by Elmo, not Johnson. These three men are followed as to why their willing to lose a piece of themselves and why one of them, Siggi, cares so much for them.

Humorous tickle your bones while other moments become docile. Mr. Arason has a book of photos of girls he bonked. Tom Mitchell of, guess where's he's from, no it's not Texas, plans on making a comic about Elmo, his penis as a superhero and the size of people. Yes, he named his penis. Then you have the heavy wood work and massive shafts that Siggi Hjartarson works on for the penis museum gift shop.

Towards the end the movie slows a bit, problems over the "legal length" are put into question to add to the drama, drama that only exists for a penis enthusiasts.

Every moment is a moment you can look into the eyes of your friend for a split second then go back watching this film at it's absurdity.

The Final Member is worthy of your viewing pleasure, who doesn't want to look inside the mind of the man behind the penis museum or just look at penis museum.
