EggSlut
8AM-4PM Daily

The neon sign itself attracted me and my cohort over the weekend to EggSlut. What you shouldn't be calling Humpty Dumpty's wife since he died has a wide tasty menu of all things egg at the Grand Central Market.

*I went to Grand Central in hopes to see the rumored renovations to which there are none. This place isn't under new ownership nor is it getting a makeover to get renovated. New businesses like EggSlut might make it in, other than that it is still very dirty looking in areas.

EggSlut isn't dirty, it just sounds like it is. What once was a food truck that wavered between Fairfax and the Arts District now has a home at Grand Central Market. Open 7 days a week, co-owner Jeff Vales talked with me about the two years prior he was selling his egg menu on the streets. We gabbed for a second than I was off to eat more food.

You must try the Egg Burger, it's so much more than an Egg McMuffin. So filling and tasty.

You'll notice EggSlut by the people taking pictures near the neon egg or how it's up front at the market.

Still looking all shiny and new it's been open since November.

DTLA Cheese
10AM - 6PM Daily

Cheeses from the future! The Hexagonal setup of the outside make me wonder if they wanted to be a honey store first. If you want fine cheeses you now longer have to go to the two different Cheese Stores that hate each other.
Horse Thief BBQ
11AM - 4PM Daily

This place smelled so good. Sadly, I already ate way too much. Next time this poorly named BBQ will be mine to try. Horse Thief? Is that what I'm eating? Smoked meats and all that hippy stuff on how their cooked.
