Skinny on ScareLA Aug 10-11

So the first ever ScareLA will be descending down upon Los Angeles this weekend. What is it? It's the horror community of LA at it's strongest. Not the independent haunted housed though some will be there. Big names in haunts from the major theme parks to the event that chill only in October will be having presentations, panels, workshops and booths. There will be exhibitors so you can stock up early on the best supplies for Halloween, perhaps with no sales tax or some other? Tera Patrick will be there for Girls and Corpses Magazine. Remember to register early for workshops, so the teachers can get a good number of whose attending, many of the classes require extra cash for supplies so go through what you might want to learn.

Here are some highlights that scared me for how fun they look.

Looks like regularly written about on this site Captured Aural Phantasy Theatre is having special performances at the convention with a horror theme, best check them out for some ghoulish entertainment.

1:30pm, 3pm, & 4:30pm Sunday

Captured Aural Phantasy Theater (CAPS) combines the art, drama and comedy of a vintage radio program with the live entertainment of a variety show. For ScareLA, CAPS will bring to life nuggets straight from the heyday of comic book horror (the 40’s, 50’s and 60’s) through live performances of vintage comic ghost stories, ads, comedic bits, music and special surprises!
