Grauman's Chinese to become and IMAX theater and become the largest IMAX theater in the world. During the renovation the hand printed courtyard will be open. This adds to the resurgence of better theaters with the most advanced tech finally making their way back to LA. The capitol of entertainment should have the best theaters to screen that entertainment with.

The famous Alamo Drafthouse based out of Texas is intent in opening a 8-screen theater in downtown. No groundwork has been laid so far, but just paperwork with a lease to be signed at the end of the month. Rumors of the theater have been going for years. Alamo Drafthouse has presented patrons with special events, special movie posters through Mondo and their own content with their own production division. If they would move to LA it could mean even better content, rare showinga and fantastic events, these are the people behind Fantastic Fest. We could see the theater in LA by 2014 if all goes well.

This would add to LA becoming the epicenter of entertainment for the audience again.
