Halloween 2010: Nuarte, New Beverly, and UCB

Even more Halloween shows to watch. I haven't listed them all just some that might interest you.

  Nuarte

All About Evil

Friday, October 8 at Midnight at the Nuart Theatre

This was shown at the L.A. Film Festival, just funny to see wear it ends up. The basic story is a young woman inherits a broken down theater and starts producing horror movies. The problem is she's killing real people to make them..

oh yeah the twins

Monsters is also at Nuarte and was also shown at L.A. Film Festival, many believe it's going to be the next District 9. The basic story is after a war with them aliens are stuck between Mexico and America. It's become a somewhat cut off land. Then two idiots go throught it. I've seen a great litle documentary on it and most of ii was shot gorilla style.

Monster will be playing late October around the 28th

True Ghost Stories with Robert Ben Garant and Friends

Ben grew up in a farmhouse, next to the field where the Battle of Stones River was fought: the bloodiest single hour of the Civil War. His grandparents had the kitchen floor carpeted, so they wouldn't have to hear the chairs moving around at night.
His friends have all had a first hand encounter with something they could not explain -- and they're gonna tell us their stories.

All true stories. All ghost stories. Should be cool.

This show will not be funny. Hopefully, it'll scare the shit out of you.

If you have a good ghost story, that really happened to you -- be ready to tell it. 'Tis the season, after all.
