The Museum's parking lot is located at the corner of Curson Ave. and 6th St., directly behind the Museum. Enter from the western side of Curson Ave.
Parking lot opens at 9:15 am and the last car can enter at 4:15 pm, when the gate locks. Visitors can leave the lot through 10:00 pm when the park closes. 


*Enter a Star Trek TOS sort-of-looking tent for free art and culture.

The 866-square-foot Second Home Serpentine Pavilion by SelgasCano at La Brea Tar Pits will be set on the grassy ellipse in the park adjacent to the museum at La Brea Tar Pits.
Second Home and NHMLAC will partner on a diverse program of public talks, film screenings, and other events—all free and open to the public—to take place throughout the five-month installation of the Pavilion.

 The artists featured in this exhibition have re-interpreted the iconic image of Hello Kitty and her friends in their own aesthetic through a wide variety of mediums including painting, sculpture and animation. Attendees will enjoy special surprises on opening night including available prints of select 45th anniversary artwork and appearances by Hello Kitty.
