Halloween Update: October Has Started, Ghost Squad Again and Again, Fanta Halloween 2018, Horrothon and Screamfest

Hey'a folks, we're finally in October and that means we got haunts and horror movies up the ying yang. Check the full list below, but what's opening this week and future events is also listed below.

And what's really sweet is we have Aero's All Night Horrorthon 13 already listed. And ScreamFest is showing it's stuff. Plus new Halloween stuff to get like the new Halloween Fanta sodas!

A small film festival that packs a punch. A lot of the slaes of tickets goes to fight breast cancer. No, we're not making this stuff up. Special events include a SCREAM QUEEN-ATHON, featuring 9 of the best Scream Queens and horror actresses in the business.

And if you can believe it, another showing of Ghost Squad.
We just saw Ghost Squad, an utterly strange, sexy and bloody piece of work from Japanese director Noboru Iguchi. It played at the KaPow Intergalactic Film Festival last Sunday, which also means the writing about it being the LA premiere is a lie. Still the Boobs and Blood Festival event sounds even better.

Open 24 Hours a story a bout a girl just started working the night shift at a gas station mini-mart when her murderous psycho killer ex-boyfriend comes back from the dead.  And special 20th Anniversary screening of Bride of Chucky. There's just so many more to choose from! We could just die!

Fanta will have specially designed cases and bottles of their fruit sodas for Halloween again this year. Apparently, the nod to Halloween from Fanta goes a long way and people buy more of it during October The designs do change every year and though lasts years had the dreadful new mummy from Universal, this year it's back to a classic mummy with a pineapple for a head. These sodas should already be on shelves when this posts goes up. They just might be hard to find based on store selection.

And Crush has a nod to Dia de los Muertos or the Day of the Dead with a nice sugar skull design

 And somehow Cartoon Network's OK KO will have the young Ghoul Girls from Scooby Doo's Ghoul School in a episode out on the app and playing on television Oct 21st.
