Barnes & Noble in Santa Monica Dead

Say good-bye to book reading on the Third Street Promenade or a least a whole lot less of it. Barnes & Noble has closed up shop permanently in the area. The book store property isn't to be destroyed, but each floor, there are three, is to be for a different business.

BookMonster is still located in the area, but is no where the size of a three story book store nor does it carry new books, only used.
