Tiny House Pre-Build Party
Craft & Folk Art Museum
5814 Wilshire Boulevard
Los Angeles, CA 90036
If you have burnable income this is a thing you can go to instead of doing more useful. I'm not even sure why I hate this, other than it doesn't seem in anyway useful. The people involved clearly have great skill that is thoroughly wasted on building tiny houses.
"Meet Derek Diedricksen and learn about his innovative design approach as he brings his unique Tiny House Project
to LA for the first time at the Craft & Folk Art Museum (CAFAM).
The Launch Party features a book signing and talk with Diedricksen and
guest micro-builders Michelle Boyle, Dustin Diedricksen, Andrew Odom,
Marty Skrelunas, and Jedediah Voltz. Builder Palo Coleman will
demonstrate Shou Sugi Ban, a Japanese technique of protecting wood by
charring it with fire and designer Dustin Diedricksen will present a
live framing demonstration. Food, cash bar and other surprises to come!"
