Wed, Jan 7, 2015 - Sat, Jan 31, 2015
Egyptian Theatre 6712 Hollywood Boulevard
Hollywood, CA 90028
$12
Now this is a great idea for a series. Watch a cars cruise insane speeds, bullets fly and people die! Crazy action awaits you all month long with car chases from the 1970's. Films may have looked ugly and so did the actors, but man, they could drive cars.

*The French Connection chase was very illegal.

"The second movie of director Kim Hong-seon who took home the Rookie Director Award at the 33rd Blue Dragon Awards in 2012 with the movie "The Traffickers," "The Con Artists" is about the business of technicians who gather together to steal 150 billion won hidden in the Incheon Customs during a limited time frame of 40 minutes"

2015 New Year's Celebration Featuring Seven Souls in the Skull Castle
Sunday, January 11, 2015 from 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM
Downtown Independent
251 S. Main Street
Los Angeles, CA 90012
$10-$20; After 5pm: $ 5 (At the door / Cash only).

First you can meet-up and eat up some provided snacks. Eh, listen I love the idea of a Japanese event to rock out to, but Seven Souls in the Skull Castle ain't the best sounding live action movie. Hell, it comes from the writer of Gurren Lagann and Kill la Kill, Kazuki Nakashima, but I'm still not sold. The problem with the film is it's way to Japanese history based for even the most loving otaku fan. You may want to skip ahead to the music of Tune in Tokyo -After 5pm: $ 5 (At the door / Cash only).
