Weekly What To Do: Smashing Holiday, Scary Christmas Movies and Parties

It's the Brian Setzer Orchestra's time to shine, so it must be the holidays. Enjoy a fun week of Christmas and Hannukah around LA. There's Christmas parties for nerds, heavy metal fans and just plain white trash. Catch a flick, hopefully one where murder and Christmas aren't together... that might be hard.

My top choice this week is Super Smashing Holiday!!!!, a Smash Bros art show and Christmas Party in Little Tokyo. Nothing says Christmas like beating your friends with baseball bats, rayguns and giant hammers...sigh, the holidays. Show me our moves...under the mistletoe.

Keep tuned into the site for New Year's Events and last minute Christmas events, but will most likely be out eating Chinese food and watching Guardians of the Galaxy with our loved ones.

Remember, next week is practically dead in LA, it's one of the slowest week's (not counting New Years), so go out or you'll be staying in with the family.

"The Worlds #1 Krampus industrial metal act! An inexplicably weird but oh-so-right hybridization of Germany’s industrial-metal giants Rammstein and Austria's favorite Yule devil, the Krampus. Dressed in horns, pelts, and masks, the band tears through an apocalyptic stage show, churning out Rammstein’s trademark Neue Deutsche Härte overlaid with obsessively reworked lyrics reflecting the inner world of the Krampus — a medley of hellfire, brutal thrashings, snow, confetti and Christmas cookies."
