Cinefamily's Most Outrageous Video Games Show Kind Of A Dud

Watching the stream of the event I watched a sort of new train wreck in presentations living up to the name Everything Is Terrible Festival. I'm obligated to write the producers of the Everything Is Terrible Festival wish it to now be called the Everything Is Festival. The Everything Is Terrible Festival lived up to it's name with a late to start show of video game hi-jinks. The problem was it was nothing new. If you watched a few specials on G4(when it existed) or maybe went around the net you might have a caught another gamer making fun of the same video game footage like Pepsi-Man, a game where a Pepsi-based hero must get Pepsi to people. In my case everything that went up on screen I had already seen from other gamer shows online.

Then there was the hosting. Explanations were far from informative and even further from being funny. There's so many web-sites that make there bread and butter making fun of video games and they weren't apart of this. It should have been someone like the Angry Video Game Nerd or just experienced gamers on stage, making fun or even having some material ready. The hosts seemed too tired from playing the games themselves and capturing the footage.

It was kind of a garbled mess and it might have been better to just sit at home and type in "video game glitches" then wasting $14 on it.

There is a Encore presentation, but I don't recommend it, even if they promised it will be different and the first show was a test run.
