Natalie had a chance to talk with the voice of Steven Universe, Zach Callison at the Annie Awards for animation. He explained a few details.
-Steven is a big goofball who is learning to be a protector of humanity
-There are four crystal gems, which one I assume belongs to Steven and the three ladies above have the other three.
Just a reminder Rebecca Sugar went off from working on Adventure Time to create this show.
This won't be out for a while, I'm guessing late Spring or Summer, but it is suppose to come out this year.
