LAist just reported on the death of a cyclist at the Critical Mass bike ride that happens monthly here in LA. Appearing next to the un-timely death of the 18 year- old caused by the other cyclists when I read the story was an ad for Tour De Fat, a beer festival and bike ride planned for the 15th. Maybe, LAist ad software generates ads based on the words in an article or it's just bad timing, but they might want to take down the ad if they can. Will they thank their weekly sponsors in the same way or will they think about promoting a drinking while riding a bicycle festival in a costume. I wonder how many people will die at that event.
