CHIP House—the Compact, Hyper-Insulated Prototype

CHIP House happened to be near the California Science Center when I visited the Cleopatra exhibit. It saves a lot of space and is great for the environment being powered by solar panels on the roof. It's actually insulated by old jeans if you can believe it. What was inside of it and sadly not operational was a modded Kinect.

" Most notably, the solar panels power an Xbox Kinect motion-sensitive video game system that has been turned into a master command center, allowing residents to turn lights and appliances on and off simply by pointing at them."
