L.A. Noire Out Tomorrow, No Viral Marketing?

Like Sony, did nothing for the Battle:LA release so is Rock Star for L.A. Noire. No fun evidence bags left around LA, no fake crime scenes to solve, no nothing. Instead big signs about the games release. I really don't get why they don't give something to the fans when the name of the city is in the game. It's not like the poor planning of Valve and it's ARG, which had the main players pulled out of the game and caused all the lower ranking fans to lose news and info for lack of updates from main players.
