To Long A Name Gamer's Night

The Los Angeles Asian Pacific Film Festival is having a game night. A pretty sweet game night at Powersurge Video Fun & Fitness.

What's Powersuge? It's a new video game space that looks like a art gallery. It will be hosted by Amy Okuda,  one of the actresses of the hit web series The Guild. Looks like all the console are open. This isn't your typical arcade. Your playing Wii and 360 (the PS3 can suck it, cuz they don't have any) on HD tv's. Open play for this event seems like a very sweet deal.

This might be the design of the modern American arcade which could still look cooler, Maybe it's better to think of it as a adult arcade the tempest freerunning academy is like a adult playground. I'd also change the name to just Powersurge, because video fun should be video game fun and I don't see that much workout equipment to have fitness in the title. It should really say Powersurge Video Game Fun and leaving the house.
I still think the place is a great idea, think about if you just wanted to rent a game with friends and get out for a while. I'm remebering a place on Ventura, but for kids only that had the same idea, but it seems like it closed.  I hope this new place gets more titles and it"ll be fine. Check it out next weekend.
