Chinese New Year Parade this Weekend, what time?

Talk about poor web design or simply not caring, ChinatownLA and LAGoldenDragonParade which seem to be the official sites of the 111st annual Chinatown parade here in LA list no actual times of anything. The parade according to those sites last 10:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. . The time of certain events such as when the actual parade will last is 8 hours? Why can't these sites be helpful? I wanna see the actual parade with the dragon costumes, not stand around for hours and not do anything.
Update found the times of events
